WHAT PROVISIONS WITH COVID - 19 HAVE YOU PUT IN PLACE?

 The majority of my headshot client’s shoots are taking place outside and I work to the present distance guidelines of 2 metres distance which will come down to 1 metre when restrictions are lifted on the 4th July.  I do not wear a mask as I find that people react naturally to my expressions and I have had what is COVID-19 back in March.  Click HERE to a blog about my experience.

WHAT IS YOUR RISK ASSESSMENT?

I am only shooting once a day and that takes place first thing in the morning. I do not stop on my way to the shoot and make sure that shoes and clothes are clean and not previously worn the previous day. For indoor corporate shoots a written risk assessment would have been sent through in advance of the shoot date. See above for further information.

WHAT DOES HEADHSOT FEE INCLUDE?

The fee covers my time including admin around your shoot e.g. sending and answering emails, pre-shoot Zoom consultation. My time on the shoot in travel, photography session, downloading and backing up the images, editing them down and initial tweaks in the look and feel of the shoot. Time in uploading to your password protected, personally created online gallery.  Depending on your package, the headshot fee would include some digital files which are printable up to A4 and have a license to use for you and your business.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

Yes I have public liability and also my photography equipment is fully insured.

DO YOU GIVE GUIDANCE ON WHAT TO WEAR?

Yes, once a session fee is paid I will send you a form to fill out for my notes and I also send you a link  “How to prepare for your Photography Session”.  I will also schedule a Zoom call a few days before the shoot to go through everything and answer any qustions you might have.

HOW DO A BOOK A SHOOT WITH YOU?

WHAT DAYS / TIMES DO YOU WORK?

I usually allocate up to 3 days a week which are shoot days and this could be anything from a Monday – Friday morning. All my shoots take place on mornings as I find that we are all at our best then.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION ITSELF

I HATE HAVING MY PHOTO TAKEN - HOW CAN YOU HELP ME?

You are not alone! 95% of my adult clients hate having their photo taken.  As an expereinced photographer with 13 years in the business I know how to make you feel comfortable and at ease. I will photograph you in a flattering way as well as showing you the back of the camera from time to time to give you confidence – which from experience that always helps and I see my client’s shoulders relax when they realise that they do “look ok”.  Random iPhone photos of you that have been taken by friends are far removed from the beautiful images that I can take of you.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY?

I would have kept an eye on all my weather apps in addition we would have reserved a back up day “just in case”.  For a weekday outdoor session we have another day booked as a back up.

HOW LONG DOES A SHOOT TAKE?

My headshot morning takes 15 minutes per person, personal brand sessions can take up to 3 hours, corporate shoots can take between 6-10 people per hour.

CAN I BRING AN OUTFIT CHANGE?

On my short session there would be no time to change but certainly on the Personal brand session there would be.  On corporate headshot shoots with multiple people there is no opportunity to have more than one outfit. We can discuss clothing at your pre-shoot consultation on Zoom.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU TAKE?

On the headshot morning around 30 images, personal brand around 750 and corporate headshots approx 15 per person.  I then edit the images down to show you the best ones via your personal password protected gallery.

AFTER YOUR HEADSHOT SESSION

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE SESSION? HOW SOON DO WE SEE THE PICTURES?

Within a 3 working days you will see your images on a password protected gallery which is online for 7 days. To choose your favourite images there is a heart icon to click on which then encourages you to create a favourite list.  Once you have informed me of your choices it takes 3 working days for the images to be sent through to you via Wetransfer.com.

I LOVE BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOS - DO YOU SHOW THEM IN BOTH COLOUR AND BLACK AND WHITE?

I only show the images in colour for you to choose but you will be given both colour and black and white versions of your final choice.

HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU SHOW?

The 15 minute shoot I show 8-10 images, Personal brand, 150 and  corporate – 3-5 images per person.  Please trust me that I am showing the best images.  The ones that I have taken out in editing are usually blinks, odd expressions, duplicates etc.
