I have been working with Marja-Leena from Darling Kingston magazine now since it launched over a year ago. It has been great working on the covers with her as we have had wonderful, inspirational local women of business being featured. This edition is no exception and it was a great pleasure to photograph Carolyn Henderson who is the GM at Warren House in Kingston upon Thames.
If you follow my tweets you will know that I am a frequent guest there whether I am having 1:1 meetings in their lounge, having afternoon tea, networking with my Athena group or photographing business owners on my Business Portrait mornings. It is my second home….
I have known Carolyn for a number of years now so it was lovely for me to photograph her for the front cover for the latest edition of Darling. Marja-Leena had borrowed 3 outfits from Shoes at Last in Maple Road, Surbiton and we loved them so much that Carolyn bought the gold coloured dress and I bought the grey one which she is wearing on the front cover. Certainly this shop is going to be on my hit list very soon to visit!
